Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team. The SMT Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT machinery to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards.Duties:
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Operate SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and stencil printers.
- Inspect and calibrate machinery to ensure quality production.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools for precision assembly.
- Perform soldering tasks to connect components accurately.
- Work with power tools, logic controllers, and hand tools for assembly processes.
- Fabricate parts and perform basic machining operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly or related field.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and assembly drawings.
- Ability to use calipers for precise measurements.
- Experience with soldering techniques.
- Familiarity with power tools, logic controllers, and hand tools.
- Knowledge of fabricating components and basic machining operations.
