Monday-Friday (Overtime available as needed) Join Our Team! We are seeking a skilled and dependable Laser Operator / Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC laser cutting and punch press equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser and punch press machines. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings. Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently. Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine maintenance. Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment concerns. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Keep work areas clean and organized while following all safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting and/or punch press equipment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Experience with sheet metal fabrication is a plus. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude. Preferred Skills Experience with Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, or similar equipment. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification). Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Basic computer skills for machine operation and production tracking.
