This role involves working with various materials and tools to produce high-quality composite components. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, assembly, vacuum bagging and infusion, with a strong focus on precision and safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lay up fiberglass materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to create durable components Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and quality standards are met Perform composite repair, gelcoat, and painting as needed for component finishing Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols Assist in assembly processes, ensuring parts fit correctly and meet specifications Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and reducing waste Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks Requirements Proven experience in boat building, or fabrication environments Knowledge of composite materials, epoxy, vacuum bagging and infusion. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and materials handling equipment Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations Ability to work with mechanical knowledge across various tasks including assembly and fabrication Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and adhere to all safety guidelines
