Havana, FL Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SMT Operator to support high‑speed electronic manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated SMT equipment used to place and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic testing, quality inspection, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies in a production environment.

Pay:

17-20/hr- dependent on experience Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor SMT and related automated assembly equipment Load and feed electronic components into machines and verify proper placement Program or adjust machines as required for production runs Set up and use test equipment to verify functionality of electronic assemblies Inspect electronic parts and components to ensure quality and compliance with specifications Perform quality checks using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment Test electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures Troubleshoot electronic assemblies by examining components and test results Follow work instructions, schematics, and production documentation Use hand tools and basic quality inspection equipment as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Document inspection results and report defects or issues to supervision Qualifications Experience as an SMT Operator, Electronics Technician, or similar manufacturing role Hands-on experience inspecting and testing electronic components and assemblies Working knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and electronic test equipment Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or electronics environment Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and quality standards Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Basic troubleshooting skills for electronic assemblies preferred Work Environment Manufacturing / production setting Standing, bending, and working with small electronic components Fast-paced, quality-driven environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havana, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
