MACHINE OPERATOR

Starting Pay:

$18.00 per hour | Full-Time | Weekly Pay Our machine operators currently earn $18.00 to $23.50 per hour, with most between $19.00 and $21.00. Raises are based on performance and reviewed annually. Eastern Wire Products, Inc. is hiring a dependable, hardworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team! Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus!

Available Shifts Day Shift:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00

PM Night Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:30 AM What You'll Do Set up and operate machinery used to manufacture wire products. Handle, coil, and secure heavy wire bundles. Operate a forklift to position and move materials. Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy. Package finished products according to specifications. Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance. Complete production paperwork and maintain a clean, safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to read instructions and perform basic math. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to complete required pre-employment screening. Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required. Important Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding industrial job. Operators must frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds and manually coil and secure high-tensile wire bundles. The work involves standing for extended periods, bending, repetitive hand use, and working in a warehouse that can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
