Job Description

Company located in Largo is hiring for an Embroidery Machine Operator.
Hours:
2nd shifts available. 2nd shift:
Pay:
$17/hr.
Position Overview :
?The Embroidery Machine Operator operates multi-head, computerized embroidery machine.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Uses computer to retrieve art, log into and out of orders, and log orders into next location.
  • Uploads digitized file into embroidery machine.
  • Selects correct logo rotation for specified item.
  • Inputs thread color sequence.
  • Hoops items in specific hoops for the item insuring they are hooped straight.
  • Observes and ensures embroidery is placed as specified on the product without defects.
  • Responsible for quality throughout job run.
  • Make machine adjustments as needed (tension, changing/centering needles, checking bobbins, etc.).
  • Is aware, observes and follows all sharps safety protocol.
  • Keep work area clean and follow all safety rules.
Requirements:
  • Ability to bend and lift boxes of items to be embroidered (no more than 35 lbs.).
  • Speed and accuracy to meet production quotas.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate with department leads.
  • Printing and Embroidery background is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.
