CNC Machine Shop Helper

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and motivated CNC Machine Shop Helper to support daily operations in our machine shop. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, mechanical environments, and learning manufacturing skills. The CNC Machine Shop Helper will assist machinists and operators by preparing materials, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and helping keep production running efficiently. Responsibilities Assist CNC machinists and machine operators with daily production tasks Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Deburr, clean, and inspect machined components Organize tools, materials, and shop supplies Maintain a clean and safe work environment Operate basic shop equipment and hand tools Package and label completed parts for shipment Follow safety procedures and company policies Perform other general shop duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Prior manufacturing or shop experience is a plus, but not required Positive attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Skills Familiarity with CNC machining environments Basic blueprint reading skills Forklift experience (preferred but not required) Benefits Competitive pay Overtime opportunities On-the-job training Health insurance / dental / vision (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement
