OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Cleaning and set up the equipment to start production. Also assemble and disassemble the machine. Feed the machine with powder, tablets and capsules. Verify that the capsules and tablets are released correctly. Control weight variations. Recover dust from vacuum cleaners. Weigh or measure capsules to ensure conformance to requirements. Read batch orders to determine specifications or production information. Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Fill or supply the machine with powder and capsules as required. Fill in all the different batch registration formats, depending on the established time. Keep the work area clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Detail oriented. Manufacturing or pharmaceutical/nutraceutical experience preferred. Basic math skills. Preferably bilingual (English and Spanish). Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing or rolling 50-100 kg drums. Able to use stairs.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

This person will be subjected to bulk food and nutritional ingredients, which may affect the respiratory system or skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust, or airborne allergens.
