Job Description

Manufacturer based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Team Lead. The Blending/Mixing Operator is responsible for precisely weighing, measuring, and blending raw materials according to strict batch records and formulas to produce high-quality, stable products. Ensure all operations comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety regulations, and quality standards to prevent issues like degradation, inconsistent dosing, or separation. Responsibilities Accurately weigh, measure, and stage raw materials (cannabinoids, oils, ingredients) based on batch tickets and SOPs. Set up, operate, and monitor mixing and blending equipment (e.g., v-blenders, ribbon mixers, high-shear mixers) to achieve desired homogenization. Follow formulation specifications to ensure product stability, bioavailability, and precision, avoiding degradation or inconsistent dosing. Maintain precise, real-time records of production, including batch data, raw material usage, and operator logs.
Sanitation:
Perform rigorous cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas to meet GMP and safety standards.
Safety & Inspection:
Inspect materials for quality and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work area, reporting any discrepancies. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing or production experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food industries. Strong attention to detail and detailed, written instructions. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Basic math skills Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
