Role:
The Blending Operator plays a critical role in the production process by accurately mixing raw materials to create high-quality blended products according to specified formulations. This position ensures that all blending operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The operator will monitor equipment performance, adjust blending parameters as needed, and maintain detailed records of production activities. Collaboration with quality control and maintenance teams is essential to troubleshoot issues and optimize the blending process. Ultimately, the Blending Operator contributes to the consistent delivery of products that meet customer expectations and support the company's operational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in blending or mixing operations. Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret production instructions and batch sheets. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in industrial blending or process operations. Experience working with automated blending systems and computerized control panels. Familiarity with quality control standards and documentation practices. Knowledge of chemical handling and storage procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor blending equipment to ensure accurate mixing of raw materials according to batch specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of blending machinery to prevent downtime and ensure operational safety. Record and report production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures. Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to verify product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with health and safety regulations.
