Panel Saw Operator / Cabinet Shop Job Overview Join our dynamic cabinet manufacturing team as a Panel Saw Operator, where your expertise will drive the precision cutting and assembly of high-quality wood products. As a key player in our woodworking shop, you will operate panel saws and other woodworking machinery to produce custom cabinetry and furniture components. Responsibilities Operate panel saws and woodworking machines to accurately cut wood panels, sheets, and framing materials according to detailed construction plans and blueprints Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure precise cuts and assembly Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including drills, sanders, clamps, and measuring devices to support various shop tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area by regularly cleaning equipment and ensuring safe storage of materials and tools Follow all power tool safety protocols to prevent accidents while handling heavy machinery and hand tools Assist with material handling, including heavy lifting of wood construction materials, siding, drywall, or fixtures as needed Collaborate with team members on assembly, framing, trim carpentry, or restoration projects to meet production deadlines Skills Strong knowledge of woodworking machines such as panel saws, table saws, routers, and sanders Experience reading blueprints, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and woodworking industries Construction site experience with residential carpentry, remodeling, or restoration projects is highly desirable Knowledge of power tool safety standards to ensure a secure working environment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks such as fixture installation or tile laying Join us in creating beautiful woodwork that transforms spaces!
