Dry Cleaner Machine Operator Gravy Work - 4.1 Opa-locka, FL Job Details Temporary | Full-time | Contract $19 - $20 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Apparel care Garment pressing Textile cleaning Machine operation safety procedures Garment finishing Dry cleaning Full Job Description GravyWork is hiring an experienced Laundry Attendant to support a client in Opa-locka, FL. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with previous dry cleaning or commercial pressing experience. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working with steam, heat, and commercial laundry equipment.

What You'll Do:

Operate and maintain commercial pressing equipment, including shirt presses, utility presses, pants toppers, legger presses, collar and cuff presses, sleeve presses, form finishers, steam hand irons, steam boiler systems, vacuum pressing tables, and spotting boards as needed. You will safely press garments, adjust steam, pressure, and temperature settings based on garment type, keep equipment clean and maintained, report any equipment issues to management, and follow all safety procedures while working around hot steam and pressurized equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months of dry cleaning experience required . This is non-negotiable. Previous experience using commercial pressing equipment is strongly preferred. Must be able to work in extremely hot temperature settings, stand for long periods, move quickly, and follow safety procedures. Resume is required.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 AM-3:00

PM Pay Rate:

$19.00-$20.00 per hour How to
