Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible start time) Position Summary Manufacturer of activated carbon filtration products, producing high-quality water filters at a modern, highly automated facility in Palmetto, FL. The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating extrusion equipment / Machine used to manufacture carbon-based water filtrationponents. This role ensures consistent production quality, machine efficiency, and adnce to safety and production standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery to produce carbon filtration materials Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed) to maintain consistent product quality Load raw materials (carbon-basedpounds) into the extrusion line Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and defects Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate concerns as needed Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment Record production data, machine settings, and output levels Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience operating extrusion or manufacturing equipment strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment Ability to read work orders or production specs Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Skills Strong attention to detail and quality control Basic knowledge of production processes and machinery Ability to adjust machine controls and monitor output Team-oriented with goodmunication skills Safety-focused mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment
Pay Details:
