We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator Level I to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machinery to meet company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, understands technical specifications, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate machinery in accordance with job instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures Review blueprints, work orders, and technical documents to ensure correct setup sequence Select, place, and secure tools as required for each job Secure workpieces using clamps, wrenches, or appropriate holding devices Prepare fixtures and feeding devices; start machines and engage feed mechanisms Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality output Verify measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) are functioning correctly Adjust machine settings and controls as necessary to maintain product standards Sharpen tools using a bench grinder as needed Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Required Skills and Abilities:

Solid understanding of mechanical systems and machinery operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical diagrams Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to troubleshoot and identify machine issues based on performance indicators Familiarity with proper safety practices in an industrial environment MUST have own transportation, no bus route

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating industrial machinery

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a noisy manufacturing environment Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Frequent bending, squatting, stretching, and climbing may be required to access machine components
