Job Description Job Description Cable Cutter Rate of Pay :
$17.00 - $17.50/hr
Shift/Hours :
6:45 am to 3:15 pm
Location :
St. Petersburg, FL 33716 You will be responsible for operating machines to cut cables and wires to specified lengths and dimensions. You will ensure precision in cuts, maintain the quality of materials, and adhere to safety protocols. Your role is crucial in supporting the production process by preparing materials accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Set up and operate cutting machines to cut cables and wires to specified lengths.
  • Use measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts and mark cables as necessary.
  • Inspect cables and wires for quality before and after cutting.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting machines.
  • Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain records of materials cut, including lengths and quantities.
Qualifications :
  • Proficiency in operating cutting machines and tools.
  • Ability to measure and cut cables accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine issues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
Physical Demands :
  • Regular lifting and handling of cables and wires.
