At our Sanford,Florida ,United States location, we currently are seeking talent for the following role: Roll Wrapper.This job would be full-time, permanent. Position Details
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Understand production processes.
- Set machine up, check and handling raw materials.
- Move and maneuver material and equipment using manual or motorized devices. Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate degree/technical certificate preferred.
- Manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of paper industry preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Ability to move and maneuver material and equipment using manual or motorized devices.
- Forklift experience a plus. Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely and observe all safety rules around all paper mill equipment.
- Maintain and up-keep a high-level of cleanliness at workplace.
- Cut broke (scrap material)
- Move Parent Rolls with a forklift to proper location.
- Set-up and operate wrapping machine.
- Data enter information into label printer and print labels.
- Other duties as assigned.
