work right away! Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing glass products to meet precise specifications, ensuring a high-quality final product. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional glass solutions for a variety of applications, from architectural installations to custom fabrication projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and techniques in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and craftsmanship are valued. Responsibilities Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to smooth, polish, and finish glass surfaces. Operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Apply technical knowledge of fabrication processes, including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining and machining techniques, to shape and refine glass components. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings to interpret specifications and ensure accurate finishing work. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to confirm adherence to design tolerances. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area while handling fragile materials carefully during finishing processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to glass fabrication, machining, or finishing procedures. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments, preferably with glass or similar materials. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is highly desirable. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise manufacturing standards. Ability to read CAD drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for finishing tasks.
