You will work closely with physicians and medical staff to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment plans in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will ensure precise imaging results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care. Tech will take vehicle home and dispatch from home. Responsibilities Perform mobile diagnostic radiology procedures including X-rays and EKG with precision and attention to detail. Use our vehicle and equipment. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam. Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure during all imaging procedures. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by capturing clear images that meet quality standards for accurate interpretation by radiologists. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment usage while adhering to confidentiality standards. Support emergency room and urgent care departments by providing prompt imaging services for urgent cases requiring immediate diagnosis. Ensure all radiologic equipment is operated safely and maintained properly according to manufacturer guidelines and hospital policies. Qualifications Proven experience operating medical imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, mammography devices, DEXA scanners, CT scanners, or nuclear medicine systems. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology and emergency medicine settings. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols in clinical environments. Prior experience working in urgent care, emergency rooms, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately during procedures. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high standard of quality in image acquisition.
