JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the pasteurizer/processor to ensure timely product delivery to fillers. Operate blending, product transfer, separation, and select pasteurization equipment. Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper sanitation. Clean and sanitize silo tanks, vats, lines, and fillers. Prepare blends and mixes accurately per batch sheets and formulas. Maintain clear and accurate documentation, including: Efficiency and downtime logs SQF, HACCP, and allergen tracking Sanitation records and batch sheets Stage and prepare ingredients for blending. Partner with the laboratory to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Collect and deliver product samples to the lab as needed. Coordinate with milk receivers to manage raw milk inventory rotation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to read and follow chemical labels and food-grade safety procedures. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skills are beneficial. Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to work for extended periods in a damp environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations. Must be able to stand for extended periods in varying environmental conditions. Comfortable working from ladders and at various heights. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly. Frequent physical activity including lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling. Must maintain constant awareness and mental focus in a fast-paced environment.
