Textron Aviation:
Be prepared for an internship that provides you with meaningful projects, opportunities to learn new skills, and the ability to explore future career fields. This onsite, paid internship will be a commitment of 20•40 hours per week, depending on the area, for the full semester. What types of opportunities you could have: Every internship is unique•and we have quite a few options to explore depending on what interests you.
This internship entails:
Manufacturing:
Read blueprints, work with sheet metal, machinery, and other various tools. What you need to be successful: Must be a current high school student who is 16+ years old. Familiar with navigating website applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Skills such as problem solving, organization, and communication (verbal and written) are helpful.
