Job Description

Americhem- Compounder Operator - 2nd Shift Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for a compounder to join our Dalton, GA Plant. The Compounder will set up and compound formulations with approved raw material products in a safe and efficient manner according to specifications and procedures.
Shift:
2nd-Shift (4pm - 12am)
Pay:
Pay starting at $19.00/hr+ with a $1.75 shift differential. Dependent on Experience.
Position Requirements/ Preferred QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
Essential Duties:
Safely operates powered industrial vehicles and moves product to appropriate areas.

Effectively operates and understands all required compounding equipment that includes blenders and scales.

Compounds material with accurate weights and measurements.

Additional Position ResponsibilitiesFollows all quality system and safety protocols by safely operating equipment, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE), completing safety training, keeping work areas clean and organized, and contributing to established safety goals.

Effectively manages time and meets deadlines.

Demonstrates organizational skills by working independently and with a team.

Required Qualities/ AttributesOrganizational skill to include multi-tasking, planning, and time management.

Ability to adjust to ever-changing priorities.

Speed, accuracy and timely completion.

Physical Lifting.

Mechanical Aptitude.
