The Job You Will Perform:

following all safety rules and procedures; operating the glue machine and double backer to produce high quality and high quantity output; preparing double backer liner rolls and splices; adjusting double backer liner roll stand and preheater settings; lining up single face and double back webs; checking and adjusting glue machine starch settings; making special set ups for reinforcement tapes or strings; helping the singlefacer operator; helping on other parts of the corrugator when the machine is down; preparing down (butt) rolls for storage and identifying these rolls with tags and/or writing; maintaining clean and organized work areas; cleaning the glue machine and doublebacker; completing accurate records; and performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
