Job Summary:
The Non-CDL Hydrovac Support Specialist at Vacutek plays a crucial role in assisting the CDL HydroVac Operator with hydro and air excavation services. This position involves providing support for job site setup, operating equipment under supervision, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all tasks performed. The ideal candidate will contribute to the successful completion of excavation projects by executing their responsibilities with diligence and professionalism.

Assist the CDL HydroVac Operator in the safe and efficient operation of HydroVac equipment. Support the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of job sites, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order. Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure job site environment. Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials as required by the project. Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and vehicles. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a labor-intensive role, preferably within Hydrovac or construction industries, is advantageous. Strong physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail in all tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. Must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat If you have not already done so, please
