Machine Operator Description:
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate laser cutting equipment in our Jasper, GA manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll produce precision metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
Duties & Requirements:
Operate laser cutting equipment to manufacture precision metal components. Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met. Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance. Maintain accurate production records and report equipment or quality concerns. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards. Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Previous machine operator, laser operator, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
