Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Measure, weigh, and mix dyes, pigments, chemicals, and additives according to production formulas and work orders. Prepare color batches for use on Zimmer printing/coating machines. Verify formulas, batch numbers, and material quantities before mixing. Maintain color consistency and quality standards throughout production runs. Monitor viscosity, temperature, and other specifications of dye mixtures. Label, store, and track mixed materials and chemicals properly. Deliver prepared dye batches to production in a timely manner to prevent downtime. Assist Zimmer machine operators with color changes and material setup as needed. Maintain accurate production and inventory records for dyes and chemicals used. Clean mixing equipment, containers, pumps, and work areas according to company standards. Follow all safety procedures regarding chemical handling, PPE usage, and hazardous material guidelines. Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervision immediately. Assist with inventory control and stocking of dyes and chemical supplies. Work closely with quality and production teams to meet customer specifications and production schedules.
