As a Set-Up Technician, you will support all production equipment activities during your assigned shift while ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

High school diploma or GED 2-3 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or production environment Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication skills with operators and cross-functional teams Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement Ability to work overtime and weekends as required Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment What You'll Do as a
Set Up Technician:
Perform machine changeovers and complete general equipment setup (downtime, scrap tracking, production quantities) Identify item codes and distinguish component differences in material handling Conduct preventive maintenance, light maintenance, and troubleshooting Load and unload ovens as required Complete daily production and performance reports (attainment, backlog, pull systems) Submit requisitions for components and MRO supplies Initiate MRR processes and update tooling logs when needed Communicate effectively with operators and Shift Supervisors during shift transitions Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and support departments Assist with operator training and staffing arrangements as needed Stop production if safety standards cannot be maintained Identify defects and follow established reaction plans Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Support pre-production trials and mass production launches Participate in Kaizen and productivity improvement activities Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) MAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
