Broadloom Sewon Operator (R401) The purpose of this job is to fulfill Operator level jobs and tasks in the Broadloom value stream.

R401 Sew-on / Rover (Primary job to fill) R401 Inspector R101 Sew-on Cross train and fill in on Operator level jobs Some skills required for these positions include: Perform planned maintenance and daily team maintenance Follow planning map and dye schedule Sew straight seams and free of creases from the sew-on table Receive in inventory (SAP) Operate PIV with long pole attachment Knowledge of base carpet The position will report to the Broadloom Supervisor.

Some responsibilities include:

Comply with all plant, area safety rules, LOTO procedures and ISO specifications. Confirm trailers on board are at dock and call trailers. Verify greige was issued correctly in SAP. Perform Weekly cycle counts. Stage/Confirm greige is ready for upcoming colorways. Draw Pic lines on carpet when unloading and measure length to make sure they are correct width. Inspect rolls when unloading to make sure the ID line is on the correct side. Transport/Dispose of tubes. Clean Millitron Pre-Circulation filters as needed. Unload supplier trailers. Perform periodic audits. Fill in on Sew on, Millitron, & Inspection jobs to cover for vacations/absences and breaks. Proper handling of tubes in the inspection area, disposable, shipping of tubes, and maintain tubes for the inspector. Keeping dumpsters emptied at R101 sew on area, inspection area, reinspect tables and cut tables. This is a non-rotating, straight 12-hour shift, this position is for 3rd Shift 7pm - 7am with a normal schedule of M-F, but some weekends may be required.
