Compensation:

Hourly position, weekly payroll

• Bonus Eligible Job Description Cigarette Stampers operates and runs conveyor system and stamping machine.

Responsible for ensuring that the machine runs properly and stamps the correct state on packs of cigarettes within each carton.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating and monitoring the computerized cigarette tax-stamping machine.
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties
• Understand numerical sequencing.
• Identify product and appropriate tax stamps.
• Able to send cigarette cartons through the computerized machine that stamps, then repacks and finally returns them to conveyor.
• Monitor conveyor line and stamp machine to ensure smooth process.
• Report damages to cigarette package or cigarette carton. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to warehouse procedures
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Requirements
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining the flow of product on the conveyor system
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Six months of experience is preferred
• High school diploma

PHYSICAL, SENSORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Must be able to lift up to 50_ lbs.
• During a 14-hour day, frequent sitting, frequent walking using a hand truck, walking down a ramp, bending and standing are required.
• Continuously stand at machine while stamping products, using both hands for stamping and stabilizing.
• Use correct lifting practices while loading and unloading product to stamping machine and / or conveyor.
