Maintenance PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to provide servicing and repair of all equipment in support of facilities, manufacturing, and inventory control operations.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Maintenance Repairman is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and reliable operation of equipment and facilities to support manufacturing production goals.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Trade Certification such as Journeyman, Electrician, or Mechanic Experience Required knowledge of CNC machine servicing and repairs Required knowledge of electrical schematics and blueprints

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally required to walk, use foot/feet to operate machines, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders, and move from place to place. The employee will regularly stand, sit, talk, and listen, and frequently use hands to finger, handle, or touch. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee works in a manufacturing environment and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is loud. AUTHORITY
The Maintenance Repairman has the authority necessary to effectively complete the responsibilities and duties listed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, equipment, and all mechanical and electrical systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and control logic issues, with a focus on root cause analysis for preventative actions. Efficiently complete maintenance work orders with minimal production downtime by coordinating with senior technicians and department leadership. Serve as a company representative with external vendors and specialized service technicians. Maintain adequate control, protection, and use of company assets. Follow and maintain a Preventive Maintenance program for all equipment. Perform new equipment and fixture builds and installations to support manufacturing. Maintain ongoing communication with the Facilities Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisors regarding maintenance issues affecting throughput and delivery schedules. Review new maintenance requests and monitor ongoing projects daily. Assist with 5S initiatives and organization of the facility and grounds. Order repair parts, materials, supplies, and services as approved; maintain organized inventory for high-use items. Support Facilities Technicians and operations as needed based on workload. Maintain proper service records using a CMMS system. Perform any other duties as requested by the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
