Job Summary:
As a Machine Operator you will be working with a small group of employees in a climate-controlled facility to run and maintain equipment in the manufacturing, converting and assembly of cover materials. This role ensures machines run efficiently, meet production targets, and adhere to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities along with an attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
Operate semi-complex, highly mechanical equipment in a production environment. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed to maintain product quality. Verify product quality and report any damaged or incorrect items to the supervisor. Maintain inventory accuracy by following warehouse procedures. Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, etc.) safely. Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse and Forklift certification is a plus. Strong mechanical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are necessary Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 30lbs Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Benefits:
