DUBUQUE, IA Job description summary The Assembly Technician assembles industrial parts and components, checks products for quality, and prepares completed orders for packaging and shipment. Main job duties Assemble parts and units using assembly prints and written instructions. Use hand tools and small power tools. Test and calibrate components to meet product specifications. Inspect incoming parts and finished assemblies for defects or damage. Complete production and quality paperwork. Scan and track inventory using computer systems, including NetSuite and RF Smart. Help with packaging, shipping, and other warehouse duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Operate a forklift after completing required training and certification. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or shipping experience is preferred.
