Job Title:
Assembly Worker Job Overview This role involves assembling mechanical products using hand and power tools in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will interpret blueprints, perform quality checks, and complete assemblies either independently or within a small team. The position also includes basic computer tasks, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting safe, efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts and products using hand and power tools according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly Perform quality inspections to verify products meet standards Use basic computer systems to log work, track production, and access instructions Work independently at a workstation to complete full assemblies Collaborate in teams (3-4 people) on larger or complex builds Safely handle materials, including picking, packing, and moving components Use RF scanners or similar tools to track inventory and materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE Assist with general warehouse tasks such as packaging and production support Use measuring tools (e.g., tape measures) to verify dimensions and accuracy Essential Skills Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Experience with hand and power tools Ability to read, write, and understand English for instructions and safety guidelines Blueprint reading and interpretation skills Strong mechanical aptitude Comfort working in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for production tracking Ability to work both independently and in a team Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in assembly, production, or general labor Experience in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems Experience with packaging and product inspection Ability to use measuring tools accurately Strong attention to detail and quality Flexibility for overtime, including occasional Saturdays Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
