Waterjet Operator:

Read and understand manufacturing Job Orders to determine directions and processing of parts to be taken Order material from the warehouse Assist in general daily maintenance of equipment Keep work area and paperwork neat and orderly Fill out required paperwork and forms Clock time, parts, scrap, etc. in manufacturing software Crosstrain on equipment as required and train new operators on equipment Perform value-added checks and quality checks before beginning work and throughout the process to ensure accurate start and completion of Job Orders Accurately complete labor reporting through manufacturing software Set up machines/equipment as needed according to Job Order requirements or set up sheet information What You Need to Bring to the

Waterjet Operator Role:

High School diploma or GED 6+ months of related experience and/or training; manufacturing experience is preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Able to regularly stand, reach, climb, stoop, crouch, or crawl Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally may be required to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
