6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am Are you a dependable and safety-focused individual looking for a new job opportunity? If so, this position is for you! A local manufacturing facility in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. In this role, you will operate equipment to manufacture and package feed products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate feed manufacturing equipment, baggers, sewing machines, and forklifts Mix and prepare livestock feed accurately and efficiently Monitor product quality during ingredient receiving, production, and load-out Record and document production throughout your shift Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Assist with inventory, equipment maintenance, and general facility upkeep Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred Basic computer skills and good communication and math skills Mechanical aptitude preferred; farming experience is a plus Ability to operate a forklift Ability to lift at least 55 pounds Ability to work in dusty environments and varying temperatures Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
