Job Description

PRODUCTION MACHINIST
Join a Team Where Your Hard Work Pays Off Production Machinists are the backbone of DCI, machining components for tractors and other agricultural equipment. In this role, you'll operate a variety of machines to produce high-quality parts with precision and care in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in doing things the right way, and like earning more for going above and beyond, you'll feel right at home at DCI. What You'll Do Load and unload parts, operate assigned machines, and keep production flowing smoothly Operate CNC and production machinery to produce parts to specifications and quality standards Inspect and gauge parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges Ensure machinery is in proper working order before running jobs Deburr and inspect finished parts to meet exact specifications Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow company policies, production procedures, and safety guidelines Assist with other duties as needed to support production and scheduling requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for a self-starter who manages time well, adapts to changing production needs, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Applicants should:
Understand basic machine shop math Know how to read a control plan Be comfortable using calipers and precision measuring equipment Work safely and efficiently in a team environment Experience is preferred, but not required. If you're interested in production machining but don't have every qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply. We're willing to train motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow. Pay & Incentives Base pay starts at $16.27 per hour DCI is an incentive-based shop , rewarding employees for productivity, efficiency, and initiative All jobs are timed at a 130% minimum incentive rate , bringing adjusted starting earnings to approximately $21.15 per hour Some higher-performing jobs pay at 180% incentive or more , equaling approximately $29.29 per hour or higher Benefits & Opportunities Employees who successfully complete the 90-day probationary period are eligible for: Health insurance Union membership Pension benefits At DCI, we value safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and rewarding hard work.
