The BiPro/Membrane Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the proprietary ion-exchange and membrane filtering processes which create whey protein isolates. The BiPro/Membrane Operator position utilizes advanced equipment and oversees crucial production steps to create high quality BiPro whey protein isolate product. Operate equipment and control processes in the production of high quality/high value whey products, successfully applying learned knowledge of processes and production methods. Effectively operate state-of-the-art equipment involved with the isolation of protein products. •Regulate production factors such as solids, temperature, pH; making adjustments to meet all set points. •Take frequent readings; accurately logging up to 50 variables per hour.

Where you'll be working: Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
