Pay:

$24.24 USD per hour + $1.50 night shift differential

Shift:

Rotational Night Shift, 5:00pm-5:00am; Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week and Wednesday, Thursday the opposite week The Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging products in accordance with product specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and safely start up and shut down packaging equipment and associated machinery. Package products according to established quality, weight, and production specifications. Perform required quality checks and promptly identify, correct, or report product deviations. Inspect packaging materials for accuracy, condition, and suitability before use. Monitor product coding to ensure accurate identification and traceability. Calibrate and monitor weight scales, metal detectors, and other required inspection equipment. Make computerized weight adjustments and equipment calibrations as needed. Operate the palletizer and stretch-wrap machine safely and efficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and operator-level maintenance. Complete production, quality, sanitation, and equipment records accurately and on time. Meet established production targets and document downtime or reasons goals are not achieved. Complete assigned sanitation duties and maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area in accordance with 5S standards. Follow all GMP, HACCP, food safety, workplace safety, regulatory, and plant policies and procedures. Immediately report food safety, product quality, equipment, or workplace safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Packaging Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and be willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to be a team player.
