Technician I, Plating

Job Summary To maintain and keep Plating Baths (and other tanks) in operational condition while following department safety standards Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions Check work area every shift to solve any problems including spillage and contamination. Work areas should be clean at all times Record the previous day's count on the daily log sheet Check lot cards to be sure the previous process has been completed Grease all grease fittings on barrels when needed•Wipe off excess grease

Before Starting:

Ensure proper PPE is used at all times Ensure paperwork is correct Ensure the proper caliber is being loaded Check parts at correct check times to confirm their progress Keep checking parts with scale•If they are within spec, return to barrel to finish, or rinse and dry Report any problems to the supervisor for corrective actions. Complete any other assigned tasks Additional Requirements Maintain a safe, clean working environment that complies with all safety rules and procedures Clean, maintain, repair, and calibrate measuring instruments•Testing equipment such as scales, titration equipment, and other measuring devices. Work as a team member within Clearwater Bullets, production, accounting, customer service, procurement, packaging, and shipping. Become familiar with the SPC program. Load bullets to be cleaned, transferred, plated, and finished. Assist with daily duties (titrations, copper anode adding, filter changes, etc.) Add chemicals when needed. Visually inspect all parts before removing the Kincart form underneath the dryer or finalizing any paperwork•Then move to the staging area Make sure to fill out lot card completely with name, tank position, time in, time out, barrel number, initial plater, and finish plater.
