What You'll Do Key Responsibilities + Operate production machinery used to manufacture seating and related components. + Monitor machine performance to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with production specifications. + Perform machine adjustments, setups, and changeovers for various production runs. + Read and use tape measures and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions. + Interpret blueprints and production drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing. + Handle sheet metal and other materials used in the production process. + Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards. + Assist with preventative maintenance and routine equipment upkeep. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. + Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and productivity. Qualifications Required Skills + Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. + Experience interpreting basic blueprints and production drawings. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. + Ability to work in a hands-on production environment and perform physical job duties. + Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred + Experience working with sheet metal manufacturing equipment. + Prior experience with production machine setups and changeovers. + Manufacturing experience in a high-volume production environment.
