Job Description We are seeking a reliable and energetic Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Aurora, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for operating automated production equipment used to coil aircraft cable ranging from 1 mm to 6 mm in diameter. Responsibilities include machine setup and changeovers, monitoring machine performance, maintaining product quality standards, hand-coiling finished cable, and executing customer work orders according to production schedules and capacity plans. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to repeatedly hand-coil aircraft cable, lift materials, and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Perform machine changeovers and adjust machine settings as required for different production runs.
- Configure machine specifications based on required wire lengths and customer work orders.
- Hand-coil aircraft cable to work order quantity's
- Load wire reels into production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate Automated wire-cutting equipment to produce materials according to specifications.
- Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment problems to supervisors as needed, Physical Requirements
- Ability to repeatedly hand-coil aircraft cable throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry 10-40 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding production environment.
Qualifications Must have:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills
- The drive to challenge machine targets, identify areas for improvement and remain task/goal motivated.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Annual Paid Holiday Shutdown Schedule:
