Job Description

Job Title:
Clamp Truck Operator Job Description We are seeking experienced Clamp Truck Operators to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for safely transporting large paper rolls and finished goods using specialized material handling equipment. The ideal candidate has experience operating clamp trucks and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Responsibilities Operate clamp trucks (specialized forklifts with hydraulic clamps) to safely move cylindrical paper rolls without causing product damage. Transport large rolls of material weighing 3,000-4,000 lbs and stacked up to 7 feet high. Load, unload, and stack paper rolls and pallets in warehouse and production areas. Deliver raw materials to production lines (e.g., sheeting, printing) to maintain continuous operations. Perform daily Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems (e.g., SAP) to track material movement and maintain accurate inventory records. Follow all safety policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Prior experience operating clamp trucks or reach trucks. Experience with stand up forklifts and clamp forklifts. Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating a clamp truck specifically, and NOT just a forklift. Experience with GMP and SQF preferred, but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centralia, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
