The Machine Operator / Wide Web Flexographic Press Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and breakdown of a high-speed flexographic printing press. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate wide web flexographic printing presses Mount printing plates and prepare press equipment for production runs Mix, match, and maintain inks according to job specifications Perform press setups, adjustments, and changeovers Monitor print quality throughout production runs Troubleshoot mechanical and print-quality issues Complete press breakdown and cleanup following production runs Maintain accurate production and quality records Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses strongly preferred Experience in a high-speed print shop or manufacturing environment Knowledge of plate mounting, ink mixing, and color matching Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret work orders and production specifications Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Apply Today!
