We focus on the creation of superior metal parts and gear systems for our industrial and OEM partners. As our production capacity grows, we are looking for a dedicated Heat Treat Operator to support our second shift operations. Core Duties Configure, load, and manage the operation of washers, quench presses, and heat-treatment furnaces for steel parts. Oversee soak durations, furnace temperatures, and cycle parameters to ensure they align with established process requirements. Conduct hardness testing and routine quality assessments to confirm that components meet our standards. Utilize lift equipment and hoists to ensure the secure transport of baskets, trays, and various parts. Help maintain precise documentation regarding all production activities and process logs. Contribute to a secure work environment by consistently adhering to all safety and facility maintenance protocols. Required Skills and Experience At least one year of background in furnace or heat treat operations is ideal, though we are happy to train mechanically minded individuals. Proficiency in interpreting micrometers, gauges, and detailed work instructions. A strong sense of reliability and a foundational level of mechanical aptitude. Capacity to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, while working in a warm manufacturing setting. A collaborative mindset with a sharp focus on safety and precision in every task.
