Tube Mill Machine Operator- 1st shift (3+ YEARS
EXP REQUIRED
) Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Must be proficient with
USING CALIPERS AND MICROMETERS.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tube Mill Machine Operator for the first shift to support our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tube mill machinery and using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. This role involves setting up equipment, assisting with production, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to follow blueprints and quality standards, and work effectively with team members to meet production goals. Prior experience with forklifts and fabrication is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing machinery by setting up components, tools, and materials according to instructions. Help operate equipment by loading materials, feeding components, and monitoring the process. Inspect finished products for quality and report defects or issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work areas; notify maintenance staff of mechanical problems. Transport raw materials and finished products using forklifts or hand trucks. Follow safety protocols at all times, wear PPE, and participate in safety training. Record production data accurately, including quantities, downtime, and quality issues. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications:
Experience operating tube mill machinery with at least 3 years of relevant work history. Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers for precise measurements. Ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections. Strong mechanical skills and understanding of machining processes. Previous experience with forklift operation is advantageous. Good teamwork skills and attention to detail.
