You will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot mechanical challenges and drive continuous improvement in our production workflows. Responsibilities Operate extrusion machinery to meet or exceed production targets for quality, waste reduction, and equipment utilization. Perform proactive mechanical troubleshooting and precise machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Drive production success by identifying innovative solutions to operational bottlenecks and technical issues. Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on machine operation and best practices. Maintain accurate production logs, including crewing time and output quantities, to ensure data integrity. Conduct rigorous quality inspections to identify defects and implement corrective machine settings immediately. Uphold a culture of safety and excellence by strictly adhering to standard operating procedures and housekeeping protocols. Qualifications Required Skills 1+ years of hands-on experience operating extrusion machinery in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Proficiency in performing quality checks using standard production measurement tools. Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team collaboration. Solid analytical and mathematical skills to interpret production data. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots, ear protection, and safety headgear. Preferred Skills Demonstrated history of maintaining high standards for product quality and consistency. Experience working in fast-paced, rotating shift environments.
