Job Description

CNC Technician Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician to support our machining operations by setting up tooling for lathes, machining centers, and CNC equipment. This role ensures high-quality production through accurate machine setup, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Life Insurance Paid Time Off Advancement Opportunities $27.00 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Direct Hire 1st Shift Job Responsibilities Set up machines, including calibrated gauging and chucking equipment. Work from instructions, blueprints, and process specifications. Assist with insert and tool life testing and record data for engineering. Troubleshoot quality and operational issues such as tool failures or work-holding problems. Obtain inspection approval before production begins. Use precision measuring instruments and perform minor repairs. Monitor SPC functions and support machine operators as needed. Ensure correct operation during production runs. Set up and operate all equipment in the department, including automated lines. Perform preventative maintenance and complete required documentation. Participate in continuous improvement and team problem-solving activities. Validate operator PMs and audit scrap and tool life reporting. rain operators and share knowledge freely. Safely use testing devices, chemicals, and material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE requirements. Take pride in work performed and support the company's quality policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Successful completion of a pre-hire math and mechanical aptitude test. Minimum 3 years of lathe and mill setup experience. At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment, including CNC equipment operation (Fanuc experience preferred). Overtime and weekend work may be required. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 60 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $27.00 - $27.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
