Job Description
The opening is on 2nd Shift and work 4/10's. The hours for this position are 3:00 p.m.
- 1:30 a.m. Monday night
- Friday morning.
SHEET METAL MACHINE SET-UP
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to metal fabrication, including assembly, cutting, and milling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience with CNC and plasma cutting machines. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of precision and attention to detail.Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate metal components using a range of hand tools and machinery.
- Operate CNC and plasma cutting machines to cut and shape metal to precise specifications.
- Use calipers and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and cutting.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all machinery and equipment is in good working order.
- Mill and drill metal components to precise specifications.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Proven experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC and plasma cutting machines.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, including calipers.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, and saws.
- Experience with milling machines and other metalworking machinery.
- Ability to work accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet precise specifications.
