Job Overview Machine Operation and Assembly Maass Midwest Mfg. is a family-owned business that has been supplying quality, USA made, products for the water well industry for over 90 years. Assembly and machine operator position is now open now to manufacture products for the water supply industry. Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, hearing, far and near activity, depth perception, visual accommodation, repetitive motion. Be able to work with machinery, measuring and hand/power tools. Responsible for working with Lead Personal or supervisor. Monitor product quality and report machine or equipment malfunctions. Operate a variety of metal working machines, drill press, load/unload CNC, saw, press. Most products are 1 to 15 pounds. Occasionally lift 50 lbs. Material is brass, aluminum and steel. Ability to work safely and keep work area clean and organized. Manufacturing experience or manufacturing education certificates a plus. Will train the right candidate. Advancement opportunities.
