Tues-Fri 2pm-6pm and Sat 9am-1pm Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment such as Cherry Picker, clamp trucks, lift trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting tasks manually or with mechanical assistance while adhering to safety protocols. Manage order picking activities accurately using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure machinery operates optimally. Support warehouse management in inventory control, stock replenishment, and materials handling procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations by following safety guidelines during all operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and productivity. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other warehouse machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. Excellent materials handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting techniques. Valid forklift certification or relevant licensing for operating lift trucks and heavy equipment. Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members across shifts. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced distribution settings while maintaining safety standards.
