PROMAN Staffing is now Hiring Assemblers for our Lombard client
Shift:
2nd shift
Hours:
4:00pm-12:30am
Pay:
$18.00 Temp-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with power tools and hand tools in a factory or warehouse environment. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by fabricating and assembling components to ensure high-quality output. Duties Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality. Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Work on the assembly line, collaborating with team members to meet production goals. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility. Assist in the fabrication of components as needed, contributing to overall production efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or assembly line environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools, hand tools, and forklifts effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and assembly instructions. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift materials up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. A commitment to adhering to safety standards at all times.
